GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard for quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience at LensCrafters. This role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales goals and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, taking optical measurements, and coordinating with opticians to ensure optimal vision solutions.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with opticians as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with colleagues, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Comfort with new technology and adaptability with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly
