GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters store, establishing it as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements, helping customers choose the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the store's appearance, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Ability to sell using sales skills and accountability for results, with a goal-oriented attitude
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment
