GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters store.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescription information to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to choose the ideal vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with the Optician as needed.
• Actively participate and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the appearance of the store, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems, computers, and calculators with basic phone and math skills.
• Ability to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy.
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
• Self‑motivator with demonstrated ability to multi‑task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Pay is determined by multiple factors, including experience, qualifications, and local minimum wage requirements.
