General Function

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience. They help establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plan and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements, helping customers choose the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
• Participate in creating a positive store environment, fostering relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain store appearance, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Embrace new technology and adapt with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and goal-oriented
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and respond flexibly in a changing environment

Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.12
