Job Role: Sales Associate

General Function

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters store, establishing us as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Deliver sales goals and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution.
4. Conduct measurements with optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
5. Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
7. Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
3. Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
4. Comfort with new technology and adaptability with high accuracy
5. Strong sales skills and accountability for results
6. Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
7. Self-motivated with ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a changing environment
