Position Overview

General Function

The Sales Associate upholds quality standards in eye care and eyewear by providing excellent customer experiences, establishing LensCrafters as the top destination for vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Meet sales goals by cultivating existing relationships and developing new ones.
2. Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
3. Assist customers in frame selection, considering optical measurements to find the best vision solution.
4. Take measurements with optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
5. Contribute to a positive store environment, maintaining professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain store appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
7. Foster an inclusive culture by respecting customers and colleagues.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Over 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
3. Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and calculators, with basic math skills
4. Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change accurately
5. Strong sales and communication skills, with a goal-oriented mindset
6. Ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment
