General Function

The Sales Associate upholds the quality standards in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every customer has an excellent experience at LensCrafters. This role helps establish our store as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Consistently achieve sales goals and company objectives by nurturing existing customer relationships and developing new ones.
2. Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
3. Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to help them choose the best vision solutions.
4. Perform measurements with optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
5. Contribute to a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain the store's appearance, keeping displays and inventory clean and organized.
7. Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience
3. Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and calculators, with basic math skills
4. Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
5. Strong sales skills and accountability for results, with a goal-oriented mindset
6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
7. Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment
