General Function

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters store. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Deliver sales plan and meet company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate optical measurements with assistance from the Optician.
4. Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Optician as needed.
5. Participate in creating a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain the appearance of the store, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
7. Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
3. Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
4. Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change accurately
5. Strong sales skills and accountability for results, with a goal-oriented mindset
6. Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
7. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment
