Job Description

What would you do? – The Specifics

In this role, you are responsible for selling, fitting, and dispensing eyewear to customers. As the Keyholder, you will also be responsible for opening and closing the store and ensuring store procedures and policies are followed when store management is not on duty.

1. Meet sales and company objectives.
2. Adhere to the Code of Conduct to ensure a professional environment.
3. Foster an inclusive and respectful environment for associates and customers.
4. Assist with dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses, as permitted by state law.
5. Perform insertion and removal training of contact lenses, as permitted by state law.
6. Educate clients on proper eyeglass and contact lens care.
7. Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
8. Notify customers when orders are ready or if there are delays.
9. Assist customers in selecting eyewear and recommend appropriate products.
10. Answer and forward incoming phone calls according to protocol.
11. Maintain cleanliness of equipment, workstations, and the facility daily.
12. Follow inventory control and loss prevention procedures.
13. Maintain visual merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience or training in retail/customer service preferred.
• Strong selling skills to meet sales targets.
• Bilingual abilities in some locations are preferred.
• Ability to instruct customers clearly and concisely.
• Courteous and professional interaction with all employees.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
