Job summary

DSI in Parkersburg, West Virginia is hiring energetic Retail Sales Associates to represent AT&T in a store-within-a-store setting. You will greet customers, assess needs, educate them on wireless devices, plans, and services, and work to close sales while earning competitive hourly pay plus uncapped commissions, paid training, and growth opportunities.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and a customer‑first approach in a high‑footfall environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 1+ year of retail sales, customer service, or face-to-face sales experience (Preferred).
• 18+ years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-traffic retail sales environment.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours; flexible scheduling including weekends.
• Basic technology proficiency (POS systems, mobile devices).
• Goal-oriented with a strong drive to meet/sell targets.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.

Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will work inside a high-traffic retail partner location representing AT&T products and services. This is an inside retail sales role focused on customer engagement, product education, and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and proactively engage customers in a busy retail sales environment
• Identify customer needs through consultative selling and active listening
• Educate customers on AT&T wireless products, devices, plans, and services
• Drive retail sales performance by meeting and exceeding sales goals
• Process transactions, activate service plans, and complete sales accurately
• Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently recommend solutions
• Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale

Retail Sales Associate Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)

• Comfortable working in a high-traffic retail sales environment
• Ability to perform essential job functions, including standing and walking for the duration of an 8+ hour shift
