Job summary

United Pacific is seeking a Sales Associate to support store operations, assist customers, and manage cash handling tasks. The role involves maintaining lighting and fixtures, securing inventory and currency, and following company policies under Store Manager supervision.

The position requires the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with potential for training on POS systems and other store equipment. This role is based at a California store location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods of time.
• Proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts and holidays.
• Stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds overhead for stocking/inventory with safety equipment.
• Occasionally climb a ladder to store/retrieve materials or place/remove signage.
• Work indoors primarily with occasional outdoor periods.
• Capable of working in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash handling.
• Lighting/fixtures cleaning and maintenance.
• Ensure security of inventory and currency to prevent theft and shrinkage.
• Report to Store Manager and follow company policies.
• Learn to operate cash register, computer console and related equipment.
