Role Objective

The Sales Associate works to achieve store sales goals by creating an authentic, organic experience aligned with the Alo brand mission. They connect genuinely with guests, educate them about products, and share the community and culture of Alo. The individual is knowledgeable about all product features, benefits, fabric, design, and care. The Sales Associate thrives in a team environment that values feedback and excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Contribute positively to the store environment, aligning with leadership and company goals.
• Drive and exceed sales goals through Alo’s initiatives, optimizing productivity.
• Engage with customers to provide a friendly, welcoming shopping experience.
• Build and maintain client relationships daily.
• Analyze reports with leadership to strategize and meet targets, focusing on growth opportunities.
• Ensure effective sales floor coverage and lead selling initiatives.
• Stay informed about store goals, initiatives, product launches, and communicate these to the team.
• Introduce all aspects of the Alo business model confidently through personal testimony and knowledge.
• Utilize company tools and incentives to support store goals.
• Address customer needs promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
• Educate guests and staff on products, community, and culture.
• Prioritize daily schedules to align with business strategies.
• Assist in shipment processing, visual merchandising, and product replenishment.
• Follow all store policies and procedures, maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1+ years in a client-focused sales environment.
• Passionate about customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.

• Capable of constant movement within the store.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing.
• Able to stand and move throughout the shift.

Schedule

Full-Time associates should have open availability, 7 days a week, 32-40 hours. Must be available during the holiday season, including Black Friday and the first week of January.

The base pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00/hour in Wayne, NJ, plus potential bonuses from incentives and total rewards including benefits like clothing allowance, 401K, health plans, and more.
