Job summary

Runnings in Devils Lake, ND is seeking a Sales Associate to assist customers in our retail store. You will greet shoppers, operate the KCX cash register, handle transactions, and answer product questions while maintaining store presentation.

The role requires strong firearm knowledge for the firearms section and strict adherence to safety and federal regulations. Prior retail or cashier experience is a plus and pay ranges from $14.50 to $15.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they shop in the retail store and assist with service questions.
• Price store merchandise and update prices as requested by management.
• Stock and face merchandise on shelves as directed by store management.
• Assist in receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
• Assist in cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Handle customer returns in accordance with policy.

Description

The Sales Associate is responsible to assist customers throughout the retail store. The primary function of the Sales Associate is to provide excellent customer service. This may include greeting customers in the store, cashier responsibilities, answering product related questions, product assembly, general housekeeping, and other duties as assigned by manager. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to meet federal regulations with the sales of firearms. Candidates must also have a strong knowledge with all things firearms and the sales of firearms. Pay Range: $14.50-$15.00 Depending on experience.
