Norman’s Gift Shops, Inc. is seeking a qualified Part Time Sales Associate for our Manahawkin Commons location in Manahawkin, NJ. The role focuses on delivering a caring, memorable customer experience while helping customers choose gifts and occasions.

You will learn our Crown Rewards program, handle sales at the register, and stay knowledgeable about merchandise. Flexible scheduling and opportunities to participate in incentive contests are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong aptitude for basic math functions including percentages and general arithmetic.
• Ability to continuously stand/walk; frequently push/pull; occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders; climb a ladder; carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Infuse our Customer CARE program into store culture and drive retail sales by connecting with customers.
• Meet Crown Rewards enrollment goals consistently.
• Learn and use the register system for accurate cash handling and a pleasant checkout experience.
• Learn product knowledge across merchandise to improve selling and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
