Martin & Bayley, Inc., DBA Huck's Market is hiring a Sales Associate (Full or Part Time) to support store operations in Kentucky. The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, accurate cash handling, and maintaining store presentation.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the register, following schedules, resolving conflicts with the MAKE IT RIGHT approach, and actively promoting Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app for discounts and rewards.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers promptly and provides courteous service adhering to Best In Class standards
• Maintains store appearance reflecting company expectations and standards
• Ensures store is open and ready for business during all hours
• Handles customer conflicts using the MAKE IT RIGHT method
• Adheres to Vision/Mission statements and follows tasks assigned by Store Manager
• Follows work schedule and communicates changes with Store Manager
• Operates shift within company guidelines and reports discrepancies
• Participates in company contests and uses suggestive selling techniques
• Completes shift checklists and records hours worked
• Rings sales on the register and records all voids, refunds, and price overrides
• Advises Store Manager of personnel issues and adheres to Responsible Retailing policy
• Maintains safety with proper ladder use and accident reporting
• Promotes Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app to customers and assists with sign-up
• Maintains stocked shelves and proper pricing per the DSD or grocery book
• Keeps floors clean and reports maintenance problems promptly
• Adheres to cash handling procedures and protects company assets
