Job summary

United Pacific is seeking a Sales Associate to support daily store operations and provide excellent customer service. You will assist with cash handling, register operations, and basic maintenance to ensure safety and profitability.

Qualified applicants will be capable of working irregular shifts, including weekends, and must be able to stand for long periods. Training will cover equipment use and security procedures to prevent shrinkage.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Be physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday.
• Ability to climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials, and/or place or remove signage.
• Most work is indoors, with some periods outside.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash transactions and operate the cash register.
• Assist in lighting/fixtures cleaning and maintenance.
• Ensure the security of inventory and currency to prevent theft and shrinkage.
• Learn to operate a cash register, computer console, and related equipment.
• Report to Store Manager and follow company policies and procedures.
