Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate in our Cape Girardeau, MO location. You will be the first face of the brand for families, greeting customers, explaining our baby essentials, and helping with school prep and everyday moments of parenting.

You’ll work in a welcoming, inclusive environment that values training and development, with opportunities to grow and advance within the Carter’s family. Prior customer service experience is a plus, and physical demands include lifting up to 40

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interaction skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and help with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Resolve customer issues confidently and proactively in a busy store.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and complete transactions.
• Perform floor replenishment and support shipments as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the loyalty program to customers.
• Maintain a safe, clean store and help minimize losses.
