Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an enthusiastic E-Commerce Sales Associate to engage with customers online, by phone, and in person to guide their vehicle purchase. In a no-haggle environment, you will respond to leads promptly, answer questions, and help customers progress from initial inquiry to in-store visit while delivering exceptional service.

You will help customers select vehicles, negotiate terms, and close deals, then follow up to ensure satisfaction and smooth transition to the Service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to online, phone and in-person inquiries to guide customers through the vehicle purchase in a no-haggle environment.
• Respond to leads promptly, answer questions and provide information to guide customers from phone/internet contact to an in-store experience.
• Help customers select their vehicle, negotiate terms and close the deal while ensuring a positive experience.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and transition ownership to the Service department.
