Hibbett Retail, Inc. in Orlando, FL (Metro Pointe Plaza) is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver quality customer service and drive product sales in the Operations department. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Store Manager.

You will promote merchandise, assist customers, and support daily store operations with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
• Team-player who is passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary customer service to help customers entering the store and during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by the organization.
• Set sales goals and strive to improve selling skills; track overall sales.
• Follow all company policies and procedures in manuals and memos.
• Assist in daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup, shipments, and maintenance.
• Present merchandise to promote and sell goods using product knowledge.
• Identify pricing concerns and operations issues to store management; report promptly.
• Attend staff meetings and tech clinics for the store.
• Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring internal control procedures and reporting fraud risk.
