The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Sales Associate to join our Dries Van Noten Beauty counter at the iconic Bergdorf Goodman. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional client service, embody the spirit of the Dries Van Noten brand, and consistently achieve sales goals. This role combines artistry, storytelling, and elevated service, reflecting the brand’s unique blend of fashion, fragrance, and beauty.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets set by the Account Executive
  • Offer personalized, thoughtful recommendations across Dries Van Noten’s beauty and fragrance collections
  • Deliver exceptional service rooted in deep product knowledge and a strong understanding of luxury client expectations
  • Build and nurture lasting client relationships through one-on-one consultations and consistent follow-up
  • Maintain accurate client records, wish lists, and service logs to ensure a bespoke shopping experience
  • Uphold the visual and operational standards of the brand within Bergdorf Goodman, ensuring all displays reflect Dries Van Noten’s artistic identity
  • Support daily operations including inventory upkeep, client communication, and back of house maintenance
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive environment that contributes to a high-performing, luxury retail team
  • Stay current on product launches, fragrance ingredients, and beauty trends to educate clients with confidence
  • Maintain all sales tools, reports, and client assets with precision and care

We’d Love to Meet You If You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in beauty sales, strong preference within a luxury retail setting
  • A passion for fragrance, individuality, and the artistic approach of the Dries Van Noten brand
  • Previous experience in a high-touch client-facing role with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and educate clients
  • A refined sense of aesthetics and appreciation for creativity and storytelling in beauty
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage sales, operations, and clienteling with ease
  • Comfort using POS systems and maintaining accurate sales and inventory records
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and professionalism
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced luxury environment

Compensation:

As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $28.00 - $30.00 an hour. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure. In addition to the base salary, PUIG offers a competitive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401K, paid holidays, a generous paid time-off policy, hybrid work environment, and career opportunities within a dynamic team.
