POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate supports management in fostering a customer- and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing our values and guiding principles in all store operations. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drive for Results:
2. Meet sales goals by utilizing effective sales techniques and product knowledge; assist customers in merchandise selection based on their needs and desires.
3. Stay informed about current sales, promotions, and maintain pricing and visual standards.
4. Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by management.
5. Participate in visual directives, including store sets and zone maintenance.

1. Customer Experience:
2. Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, offering a seamless omni-channel experience.
3. Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
4. Ensure a quick and efficient register experience, staying current on policies related to payments, coupons, returns, exchanges, and security.
5. Encourage buying decisions at checkout and meet add-on sales goals, including gift card sales.
6. Register clients for reward programs.
7. Build and maintain a loyal customer base through clienteling and wardrobing.
8. Be knowledgeable about current product fit and style offerings both in-store and online.
9. Maintain consistent client communication via customer books.

2. Support replenishment activities to keep the store well-stocked.
3. Assist with locate fulfillment and visual displays, including floor sets, window changes, signage, etc.
4. Help with store cleanliness and organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Retail or sales experience preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to company technology
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management
• Regular attendance and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Constant walking/standing (67-100% of shift)
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of shift)
• Frequent climbing (34-66% of shift)
