POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring a great customer experience and maximizing profitability. We love what we do and believe that with our teams, we are the most amazing place to work, learn, and grow!

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drive for Results:
2. Meet sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and product knowledge; assist customers in merchandise selection based on their needs.
3. Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
4. Participate in visual directives including store sets and zone maintenance.
5. Customer Experience:
6. Model and promote the MAPS principles, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
7. Resolve customer concerns promptly.
8. Ensure efficient register experience, understanding policies on payments, returns, and security.
9. Encourage buying decisions at checkout and promote add-on sales like gift cards.
10. Sign up clients for reward programs and build customer loyalty through clienteling.
11. Stay informed on current product fit and style offerings.
12. Maintain consistent communication with customers via customer books.
13. Operational Excellence:
14. Support replenishment activities to keep the store well-stocked.
15. Assist with locate fulfillment and visual displays, including floor sets and signage.
16. Help maintain store cleanliness and organization.
17. Teamwork and Growth:
18. Promote an inclusive, collaborative problem-solving approach.
19. Seek personal development opportunities and feedback.
20. Perform other duties as assigned, noting that duties may vary across brands.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Retail or sales experience preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn new technology
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
• Regular attendance and flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Constant walking/standing for 67-100% of shift
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33%) of shift
• Frequent climbing (34-66%) of shift
