Position Objective

The Sales Associate supports management in fostering a customer- and product-focused sales culture, ensuring excellent customer experiences and maximizing store profitability. We love what we do and believe our team is the best place to work, learn, and grow!

Functional Responsibilities

1. Drive for Results
   • Meet sales goals by applying effective sales techniques and product knowledge, assisting customers in merchandise selection based on their needs.
   • Stay informed about current sales, promotions, and maintain visual standards.
   • Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
   • Participate in visual merchandising efforts, including store setups and zone maintenance.
2. Customer Experience
   • Model and promote the MAPS principles to deliver a cohesive omni-channel experience.
   • Resolve customer concerns promptly.
   • Ensure efficient checkout processes, staying updated on payment policies and security practices.
   • Encourage additional sales at checkout, including gift cards and reward program sign-ups.
   • Build customer loyalty through clienteling and wardrobe styling.
   • Stay knowledgeable about current product fit and style offerings both in-store and online.
3. Operational Excellence
   • Support replenishment to keep the store well-stocked.
   • Assist with order fulfillment and visual displays, including floor sets and signage.
   • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the boutique.
4. Teamwork and Growth
   • Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment.
   • Seek personal growth opportunities and welcome feedback.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt to company technology.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Constant walking/standing during 67-100% of an 8-hour shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33%).
• Frequent climbing (34-66%).
