Sales Associate/Cashier

Summary

The Sales Clerk/Donation Processor performs retail sales functions, accepts merchandise donations, and selects and prices donated goods and textiles for sale according to the Retail Procedures Manual.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Perform stock duties such as sorting and hanging garments, placing them on appropriate racks, and keeping the pulling system updated.
• Work a flexible schedule to meet store needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience in retail sales, cashiering, customer service, or shipping/receiving preferred but not required.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Must pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
