Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a part-time Cashier/Sales Associate for Store 35 in Fredericksburg, VA. The role involves greeting customers, operating the register, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

You will handle lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales with proper age verification, upsell where appropriate, and assist with stocking and store upkeep. Weekend availability and a positive attitude are important.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Capability to lift frequently 10 lbs and up to 50 lbs.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate register with accuracy and speed.
• Become expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification.
• Upsell customers to increase sales.
• Keep the store clean and safe inside and outside, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain fresh merchandise.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist wherever needed.
