Job summary

PAL Management, Inc. is seeking a friendly, motivated bilingual Sales Associate to join our Madison store. The role focuses on jewelry sales while assisting guests with electronics, tools, and other merchandise, delivering a positive shopping experience.

Ideal candidates are welcoming, dependable, and able to build relationships in a fast-paced retail setting. Training on jewelry basics and rewards programs will be provided to help meet store sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Retail or customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming store experience.
• Assist guests in selecting jewelry and merchandise that fits their needs and budget.
• Educate guests about jewelry basics (training provided).
• Promote rewards, Trade-In and Jewelry Trade-Up programs.
• Support high-value sales with professionalism.
• Maintain clean, organized jewelry displays and sales cases.
• Ensure merchandise is tagged and priced.
• Assist with restocking and merchandising on the sales floor.
• Meet daily and weekly sales goals with the team.
• Assist Web Sales Specialist with packaging, shipping, and listings.
• Follow safety, security, and guest service policies.
• Participate in ongoing product training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming store experience.
• Assist guests in selecting jewelry and merchandise that fits their needs and budget.
• Educate guests about jewelry basics such as gold quality, diamonds, and gemstones (training is provided)
• Promote Karat Rewards, Trade-In and Jewelry Trade-Up programs to encourage repeat visits.
• Support high-value and special occasion sales with confidence and professionalism.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and attractive jewelry displays and sales cases.
• Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged and priced.
• Assist with restocking, rotating, and merchandising product on the sales floor.
• Work with team members to meet daily and weekly sales goals.
• Assist the Web Sales Specialist with packaging, shipping, and preparing items for online listings.
• Follow company policies related to safety, security, and guest service.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

$20.00 - $24.00 an hour

Qualifications

Formal Education and Experience Requirement

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bilingual required - preferably Spanish
• Retail or customer experience preferred

Knowledge

• Friendly and approachable personality
• Strong communication skills in both languages
• Comfortable discussing product features and pricing
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge
• Team-oriented and dependable
• Willingness to learn about jewelry and merchandise

Physical Requirements:

• Stand or sit (stationary position) 20% of day

Lifting Requirements

• Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
