Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation in the Asheville, NC area is seeking a friendly team member to help customers select the right tools and home improvement products. You’ll share knowledge, ensure a positive shopping experience, and contribute to a fast-paced, energetic store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and guidance across tools and home improvement categories.
• Provide friendly, responsive service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain a high-energy shop floor and assist with lifting up to 25–30 lbs.
• Support scheduling and flexibility to accommodate store hours.

What to Expect:

• You'll be the smiling face customers turn to for advice and guidance on our extensive range of products. From power tools to lawn and garden supplies, you'll use your expertise to help customers find exactly what they need to tackle their projects with confidence
• We are high energy so time will fly
• You'll be on your feet for most of your shift (4 to 8 hours)
• Must be able to lift 25 to 30 lbs

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for helping customers and providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
