Job summary

Weiders Ace Hardware in Honeoye Falls, NY is seeking a floor/cashier to deliver outstanding customer service, process sales quickly and accurately, and operate the cash register. You will also replenish merchandise and ensure correct signage.

The role requires a High School diploma, retail experience, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected, along with the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: High School degree, some college preferred.
• Experience in a retail environment (cashier, sales, or back office).
• A commitment to service, excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to process information and/or merchandise through the register system.
• Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of retail computer systems, electronic cash registers, MS Word, and Excel a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for an extended period and move/handle boxes of merchandise.

The primary responsibilities of the floor/cashier position are to maintain helpful customer service, process sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently, and operate the cash register.
