Job summary

Steve Faulkner Ford is seeking an Automotive Sales Associate to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling and a passion for working with people in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, achieving sales goals, explaining vehicle options, and coordinating test drives. We offer a 5-day work week, health insurance, PTO/sick leave, 401K, and non-commission base pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license required and clean driving record.
• Ability to meet sales goals and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers entering the dealership and help them select a vehicle that fits their needs.
• Sell a minimum number of vehicles based on goals defined by the sales manager.
• Explain product performance, options, and benefits; determine customer needs.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly actions to improve time use and effectiveness.
• Offer test drives and obtain proper identification prior to test drives.

Responsibilities:

• - Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs
• - Selling a minimum number of vehicles based on the goals and objectives defined by the sales manager
• - Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
• - Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively
• - Offering test drives to all prospects and following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification prior to test drive

Requirements:

• - Automotive sales background preferred
• - Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
• - Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• - Strong written and communication skills
• - Valid driver's license required and clean driving record
