• Understand and meet customer needs, share product knowledge, answer questions, suggest merchandise, and recommend products.
• Promote store events and promotions to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns by offering alternative solutions and turning returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate updates to management regarding restocking, service needs, and customer feedback.

Essential Job Functions

• Frequent cash‑register operation.
• Move merchandise, up to 25 lbs, and place/remove items up to 5‑10 feet high.
• Ascend and descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Assume kneeling, bending, twisting, and stooping positions, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Communicate and exchange information with customers and coworkers verbally or by telephone.
• Move across the sales floor to assist customers and transport merchandise.
• Work a flexible schedule that includes day, evening, weekend, overnight, and occasional travel.
• Recognize and follow email and printed instructions for layouts, schedules, and operating procedures.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for at least 80% of the time.
