Job summary

Mattress Warehouse is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team and help customers find their ideal mattress with our bedMATCH system. You will deliver a friendly, informative shopping experience and drive sales at a high level.

Typical shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays with a 40–55 hour work week. We offer comprehensive benefits, a robust 401(k) match, and opportunities for growth in a team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Retail experience with a focus on customer service and sales.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are a plus.
• Ability to assist customers with loading purchases and to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sell premium mattresses using bedMATCH system for personalized recommendations.
• Provide a relaxed, low-pressure shopping experience and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist customers with loading purchases onto their vehicles.
• Maintain showroom presentation and reset floor to ensure an inviting store environment.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking highly motivated and successful Retail Sales Associate to assist us in our continuing quest to provide exceptional service to our customers. With over 520 store locations and growing, we have been a leader in the Mattress industry for 30 years, and we are USA family owned and operated! You will confidently sell our premium mattress/bedding products utilizing our tried and proven selling process and cutting‑edge diagnostic sleep system bedMatch.

Preferred Qualifications

• We are looking for motivated people with the availability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and all weekends.
• Our typical 4–5-day work week offers our Retail Sales Associates the opportunity to work between 40 and 55 hours a week.
• Bilingual with equal fluency in verbal and written English and Spanish or other languages a plus!
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, reset the showroom floor, and assist customers with loading their mattress purchases onto their vehicles.
• You will provide our customers with a relaxed, low pressure and educational shopping experience focusing on improving their lives through our sleep solutions.
• We use state of the art technology including tablets, mobile point of sales (POS), and our exclusive bedMatch system.
• A winning team-oriented attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm are keys to success!
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and understanding their needs.
