Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is seeking a Tempur-Pedic Sales Associate to provide excellence in customer service while selling and marketing Tempur-Pedic products. This role may serve in a management capacity when the Store Manager is unavailable, including opening/closing the store and covering management duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ retail experience (or equivalent education/experience) with high-end luxury and/or custom products.
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Familiarity with current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care, maintaining a professional appearance, and adhering to company policies and Tempur Sealy’s brand.
• Continue to perform all Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at a high level.
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team.
• Assist the store manager with merchandising, implementing company programs, and other needs.
• Resolve issues within the sales team and escalate larger problems to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Tempur-PedicSalesAssociate’s primary responsibility is to provide excellence in customer service while selling and marketing Tempur-Pedic products. In addition, this individual will serve as a member of management when the Store Manager is not available. This could include opening and/or closing the store as well as covering the management duties.

Pay Range

The total estimated annual compensation, including base pay and incentives, is $40,000 - $60,000.

WhatYou’llDo (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

• Assistin managing andmaintainingresponsibility for the overall performance of the store.

• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care,maintaininga professional appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures,and inmaintainingTempur Sealy’s brand.

• Continue to perform all the Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level.

• Solve problems within the sales team and direct larger issues to the Store Manager.

WhatYou’llNeed (Qualifications):

• 1-3 years’ retail experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with high-end luxury and/or custom products

• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment

• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.

• Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards

• Demonstratedcollaboratorable to both lead and follow.

• Flexibility in work schedulereflectingthe needs and patterns of store hours.

• Fluency with current retail software / computer systems

• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time and occasionallyliftingitems with or withoutassistance.
