Talbots is seeking a Sales Associate for Store 01091 Perrysburg, OH. You will deliver an exceptional customer experience, promote merchandise, and assist management in growing store business.

Use fashion knowledge to create outfits, stay current with trends, and drive sales while supporting concierge services. A collaborative, energetic environment with a focus on service and results persists through flexible evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates selling competence with styling expertise and fashion sense.
• Excellent verbal communication and high integrity.
• Comfort navigating computer/iPad/handheld systems.
• Strong organizational skills; able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse team; adaptable and reliable.
• Open availability for 15–20 hours per week; flexible evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to promote products and build brand relationships.
• Assist management to help grow store business and guest engagement.
• Support service enhancements and concierge usage to strengthen client relationships.
• Service multiple customers, multitask, and handle projects concurrently.
• Stay informed on fashion trends and knowledge of fit, color and styling.
• Create outfits using product knowledge to meet customer needs and tailor recommendations.
• Strive to meet sales and service metrics (clientelling, outreach, appointments, awards).
• Complete operational tasks such as filling orders, replenishment and recovery.

What You'll Do

• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business.
• Support all service enhancers to build strong relationships including active use of Concierge.
• Service multiple customers at a time, multi-task and/or handle projects simultaneously.
• Be aware of fashion trends and seek information about all new arrivals, including product knowledge about fit, color, fashion etc.
• Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits for customers and suggest items to match their needs.
• Maximize individual performance by participating in learning opportunities, accepting direction, coaching and feedback.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas including: clientelling/outreach, appointment setting and Talbots Classic Awards.
• Complete projects as assigned including operational assignments: filling orders, replenishment, recovery etc.
