Job summary

YogaSix Doylestown & YogaSix Newtown seeks a part-time Membership Sales & Service Associate to deliver an exceptional in-studio experience, assist with new membership sales, and retain current members. You will greet guests, explain class options, and process membership and merchandise purchases to build a vibrant YogaSix community.

This year-round position offers starting pay of $15/hour plus commission opportunities, plus perks like unlimited employee yoga, family discounts, and retail

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Experience in fitness, wellness or retail preferred.
• Computer proficiency required; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Execute full sales process from lead generation to first class appointment and close.
• Warmly welcome guests, learn goals to assist sales and retention.
• Be knowledgeable about classes, memberships and pricing.
• Call to invite new students and follow up on class experiences.
• Enter notes and follow up tasks in the studio management system.
• Sell in-studio merchandise; support cleanliness and operations.
• Pursue ongoing improvement of sales skills and product knowledge.

Job description

The Membership Sales & Service Associate delivers exceptional in studio experience, assists with new membership sales and the retention of current members. The Sales Associate (referred to as a Wellness Advisor at YogaSix) provides superior, personalized service to members while assisting guests with class selections, answering membership questions, and transacting membership and merchandise purchases. We want you to be EXCITED about connecting with our guests and helping to building a strong, vibrant YogaSix community.

Please note: this is a year round, part time position.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills required
• Previous work experience in fitness, wellness or retail preferred
• Computer proficiency required
• Associate's degree or higher preferred. High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Execute full sales process of lead generation, booking them into their first class and closing the sale
• Warmly welcome all guests to the studio, learn about their goals and background to help with sales and retention.
• Be knowledgeable about the studio's classes, memberships and pricing
• Make calls to invite new students into the studio, follow up on their class experience and present membership options
• Enter notes and follow up tasks in the studio management system
• Sell in studio merchandise
• Assume responsibility for constantly improving your sales skills
• Ensure studio cleanliness
• Other duties as assigned.

Shifts

Applicants should be available to work at least 2 of the shifts listed below every week:

• Mon - Thurs: 8:30am - 1:00pm; 3:30 - 9:00pm
• Fri: 7:15am - 1:00pm
• Sat: 7:15am - 1:30pm
• Sun: 7:15am - 1:30pm

Applicants should also have the flexibility to work 2-3 additional shifts per month to ensure front desk coverage, when asked.

Physical Requirements

• May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locations. May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
• Must be able to effectively hear in person and via telephone
• Must be fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to type in English.
