Job summary

BODYBAR Pilates - West Wichita and Derby is seeking a high-energy Sales Associate to grow our member base and deliver an exceptional studio experience. The part-time position requires occasional weekends and varied shifts, reporting to the Studio Manager or Lead Sales Associate.

You will drive membership and retail sales, answer questions about classes, and participate in community events to promote the studio.

Qualifications

• Goal-oriented with ability to generate memberships, retail, and private training sales.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication in person, phone, and email.
• Proficient with computers and studio software.
• High school degree; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist members to create a community at the studio.
• Drive sales through lead generation, management, and conversion of new members.
• Manage memberships and provide information about classes and services; process changes (upgrades/downgrades/f freezes/cancellations).
• Maintain a clean, inviting studio; assist with content for social media as needed.

Who We’re Looking For

BODYBAR Pilates is a fast-growing boutique fitness franchise delivering dynamic Pilates workouts through our signature BODYBAR method—now in studios across the U.S. We’re on a mission to set the industry standard in how Pilates is taught and experienced, with a focus on strength, form, and most of all—CHEER. From the studio floor to the front desk, our team leads with positivity, passion, and purpose.

BODYBAR Pilates is looking for a high-energy, people-loving Sales Associate to help grow our member base and create an unbeatable studio experience. You’ll drive sales, support members, and bring the BODYBAR vibe to life—all while working alongside a fun, motivated team. The SA position is a part-time position requiring occasional weekend, early morning, and/or evening work and reports to the Studio Manager and/or Lead Sales Associate.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcome and assist members in the studio by creating a community at the studio through engagement with members before and after class
• Implement the studio sales process, including lead generation, management, and conversion of new members/memberships
  • Manage memberships and provide information about classes and services
  • Carry out member retention tasks
  • Class/Member bookings
  • Participate in community events to promote the studio
• Achieve sales quotas by interacting with members and guests, getting to know them, and helping find items they like or might want to try
• Process membership changes, including upgrades, downgrades, freezes, and cancellations
• Achieve and maintain a clean and inviting studio environment by completing daily shift cleaning tasks
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Lead Sales Associate and/or Studio Manager, including but not limited to participation in the creation of picture and video content for the studio’s social media accounts.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Goal-oriented with an ability to generate membership, retail, and private training sales
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills in-person, via phone, and email
• Passionate about fitness
• Professional, trustworthy, and punctual
• Proficient with computers and studio software
• High school degree
• Some college education is preferred

Compensation

• $12 per hour
  • Ability to earn biannual raises
• 10% commission on retail and membership sales
• 50% off your Pilates membership or the ability to drop in to classes with open spots
