Job summary

Place 2B Properties is seeking Sales Associates to create a welcoming shopping and selling experience. You will support daily store operations, greet customers, restock inventory, and help maintain a clean, organized store.

In this role you will handle sales transactions with the POS, explain return policies, and participate in opening and closing procedures. Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer-service experience preferred, not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic math skills and comfort with cash/credit transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately and communicate sales, promotions, and new merchandise.
• Accurately process sales transactions using the POS system.
• Explain return policies and loyalty programs during checkout.
• Handle cash and other payment methods accurately.
• Balance cash drawers during opening/closing (Senior Associate).
• Maintain a clean and organized store.
• Merchandise clothing racks, floor displays, and counters.
• Assist with restocking and inventory management.
• Participate in opening and closing procedures.
• Review communication logs and follow all company policies.

Kid to Kid Sales Associates create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping and selling experience for all customers. Sales Associates support daily store operations, provide excellent customer service, restock inventory, and help maintain a clean, organized store.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers immediately and communicate sales, promotions, and new merchandise
• Offer assistance proactively and answer customer questions
• Engage in conversation and anticipate customer needs
• Answer the phone using approved scripting
• Communicate store sales, promotions, and loyalty programs

Sales & Cash Handling

• Accurately process sales transactions using the POS system
• Explain return policies and loyalty programs during checkout
• Handle cash and other payment methods accurately
• (If Senior Associate) Balance cash drawers during opening/closing

Store Operations

• Maintain a clean and organized store
• Merchandise clothing racks, floor displays, and counters
• Assist with restocking and inventory management
• Participate in opening and closing procedures
• Review communication logs and follow all company policies

Physical Requirements

• Lift boxes, bins, displays, and merchandise up to 20 lbs overhead
• Bend, reach, stoop, and kneel while merchandising and assisting customers
• Manual dexterity for tagging, hanging clothes, and POS operation
• Requirements may change based on business needs
