Job summary

Foot Locker in Hickory, NC is seeking a Sales Associate to welcome customers, help build head-to-toe looks, and drive sales with product knowledge. You’ll assist with online orders, while keeping the store visually appealing and organized for a great customer experience.

Responsibilities include restocking, cash handling, and maintaining a safe, inclusive team environment. Evening/weekend availability is expected, with opportunities for development and advancement.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable talking with people and helping customers.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do

Customer Experience & Sales

• Welcome customers and help make the store a fun place to shop.
• Help customers build head to toe looks by preparing footwear and presenting apparel and must have add ons.

Store Ops & Execution

• Help with daily store tasks like restocking, maintaining or upkeeping of fitting room, cash handling, and keeping the floor clean and organized.
• Maintain store visuals and recovery standards so the store is always customer ready.
• Follow all safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures to protect customers, teammates, and product.
• Handle all company and customer information responsibly and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Teamwork & Culture

• Work together with teammates and leaders to crush store goals.
• Take part in training and coaching: learn, grow, and level up.
• Bring positive energy and help create a respectful, inclusive, team oriented environment.
• Have a solution-oriented mindset.
