Job summary

United is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to join our Fredericksburg branch. You will assist customers, process transactions, and support daily banking operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, training through our internal program, and excellent communication skills. Bilingual ability (Spanish or other language) is a plus, with flexibility to adapt to customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed in-house Sales Associate Training Program.
• Experience in customer service is highly desired.
• Sales-oriented professional demeanor is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communications; Spanish or another language a plus.
• Money handling experience preferred.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Sit or stand for extended periods.
• Operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other components.
• Receive customer transaction documents over the counter.
• Lift and carry up to twenty pounds.
• Interact with staff at all levels with effective communication.
• Observe and translate data for accurate processing.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of the Bank’s in-house Sales Associate Training Program.
• Previous customer service contact experience is highly desired.
• Ability to demonstrate a sales-oriented professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills required; Verbal and written communications skills in Spanish or additional language a plus.
• Experience in handling money preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel) required.
• Understanding and working knowledge of appropriate core banking system is a plus.
• Detailed oriented.
• Professionalism and confidentiality are essential.
• Flexibility on work schedule as business needs arise.
