Job summary

Ace Hardware Duncan is hiring a Full Time Sales Associate to create a friendly, service-oriented shopping experience. You will work with a dynamic team to help customers, stock and organize merchandise, and support store operations in a community-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, and are willing to work weekends and evenings. Benefits include PTO, health coverage, employee discounts, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive representation of Ace Hardware to customers and offer product knowledge.
• Greet customers, assist with solutions, and route issues to management as needed.
• Maintain store layout, merchandise locations, and cleanliness on sales floor and stockroom.
• Assist with stock receiving, pricing, merchandise resets, signage updates, and special orders.

Customer Service Excellence

• Provide a positive and friendly representation of Ace Hardware to every customer.
• Proactively assist customers with personalized solutions and product knowledge.
• Greet and thank customers warmly throughout their visit.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly and escape any issues to management as needed.
• Maintain strong knowledge of store layout and merchandise locations.

Store Operations Support

• Help receive, stock, and price merchandise to keep the store inviting and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor areas.
• Assist with merchandise resets, signage updates, and special orders.
• Operate forklift safely after training and contribute to a professional work environment.
• Participate actively in store meetings and communicate ideas to improve sales and operations.

Skills & Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Formal retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 40 lbs, and climb ladders during shifts.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings (no later than 8pm), and holidays.
