LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is recruiting a Part-Time Sales Associate to join Macy's eyewear departments in the United States. You will help customers select frames, apply prescriptions, and deliver an exceptional eye care experience.

Qualifications

General Function

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in LensCrafters every time. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose the best vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with the Optician as needed.
• Participate in a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the appearance of the store and ensure displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers and calculators with basic math skills
• Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to sell using sales skills and accept accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a changing environment

Pay Range: 16.83-23.55

This posting describes an existing vacancy. Employee pay is determined by factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
