Mattress Warehouse is seeking a motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team in New Jersey. You will guide customers through the mattress buying journey, using our bedMATCH diagnostic system to tailor recommendations.

By delivering exceptional service, you will help customers sleep better while meeting sales goals and earning bonuses. The role requires a flexible retail schedule including evenings and weekends, and the ability to lift heavy mattresses.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and assist customers with loading purchases.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as part of retail schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting mattresses and bedding solutions.
• Demonstrate and explain the bedMATCH diagnostic system and recommendations.
• Process transactions and maintain showroom layout.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking highly motivated and successful Retail Sales Associate to assist us in our continuing quest to provide exceptional service to our customers. With over 520 store locations and growing, we have been a leader in the Mattress industry for 30 years, and we are USA family owned and operated! You will confidently sell our premium mattress/bedding products utilizing our tried and proven selling process and cutting-edge diagnostic sleep system bedMatch .

Preferred Qualifications

• We are looking for motivated people with the availability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and all weekends. Our typical 4-5-day work week offers our Retail Sales Associates the opportunity to work between 40 and 55 hours a week.
• Bilingual with equal fluency in verbal and written English and Spanish or other languages a plus!
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, reset the showroom floor, and assist customers with loading their mattress purchases onto their vehicles.
• You will provide our customers with a relaxed, low pressure and educational shopping experience focusing on improving their lives through our sleep solutions.
• We use state of the art technology including tablets, mobile point of sales (POS), and our exclusive bedMatch system.
• A winning team-oriented attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm are keys to success!
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and understanding their needs.
