Job summary

Tempur Sealy, a leader in bedding and sleep solutions, seeks a Retail Sales Associate for our Asheville store. You will drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards across the sales process.

This role requires strong product knowledge, professional presentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail experience with luxury products, fluency with POS systems, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ retail experience (or equivalent) with high-end luxury and/or custom products.
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Familiar with current retail software and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care, maintaining a professional appearance, and upholding brand standards.
• Continue to perform all Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at a high level.
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team.
• Assist the store manager with merchandising and implementing company programs.
• Solve problems within the sales team and escalate larger issues to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: The total estimated annual compensation, including base pay and incentives, is $40,000 - $60,000.

WhatYou’llDo (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

WhatYou’llNeed (Qualifications):

• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards
• Demonstratedcollaboratorable to both lead and follow.
• Flexibility in work schedulereflectingthe needs and patterns of store hours.
• Fluency with current retail software / computer systems
• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time and occasionallyliftingitems with or withoutassistance.
