Llewellyn Marine Supply has been a reliable supplier to the Marine industry since 1936. We have been expanding and have multiple locations to serve our customer base. We supply and deliver to boatyards, shipyards, government agencies, commercial, and retail customers. Join our well established team with decades of experience. Our Alameda, CA. location is seeking our next team member:

Duties:

• Introduce and sell in wholesale (bulk), and dropship, a wide range of brand name Marine products to various types of B2B customers (retail, online retailers, and independent channels).
• Sales conducted over the phone and in person. Calling retail buyers and cultivate relationships with buyers.
• Entering and processing daily transactions.
• Assisting in business development activities.
• Identify new items in the market and new products to carry.
• Assist in store customers with technical questions and application uses.

Skills:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently.
• Skilled in building business relationships over phone, and via emails with customers.
• Experienced in following up with, and managing, large volume of customers.
• Multilingual or bilingual a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
• Proven success, experience, and relationships, selling to retail stores and online retailers, closing deals and driving sales through our selection of products.
• Experience and knowledge of retail, and online retail market. Familiarity with retail math for calculating discounts, margins, and order totals accurately.
• Skilled at following up with, and managing, large volume of customers.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions with clients.
