The Kasper Group, an apparel industry leader for over 30 years, has remained committed to excellence in offering iconic brands and relevant womenswear designs.

We are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant with a desire to learn multiple facets of the business to support our team. The candidate will handle key administrative responsibilities, systems support, and research and development information. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Liaison on daily tasks involving Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Design teams
  2. Purchase order management – write, process, log, update, and track customer purchase orders from receipt to shipment
  3. Generate, manage, update, maintain, and distribute reports such as weekly style selling, daily sales, inventory, open-to-sell, and customer order logs
  4. Demonstrate initiative by reviewing reports, highlighting findings, and proposing reorders
  5. Maintain organization of system files including line sheets, CADs, costing, financial, and time and action sheets
  6. Interface with customers – meet & greet, attend meetings, and correspond with client staff
  7. Prepare for meetings and markets – create agendas, schedule appointments, reserve meeting spaces, organize samples, and prepare meeting recaps and model looks
  8. Manage samples – order, track, and distribute customer and photo shoot samples
  9. Monitor PP/TOP samples – track incoming/outgoing samples, alert to late samples, and log approvals
  10. Provide system and general administrative support such as travel arrangements, expense reporting, and sample management
  11. Manage entry-level account responsibilities, including showroom presentation and business management
  12. Work effectively in a team environment

  1. Associates or Bachelor’s degree
  2. Degree in business or merchandising is a plus
  3. Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred (including internships)
  4. A passion for the fashion industry and understanding of current trends
  5. Familiarity with the sales department in a women's ready-to-wear manufacturer or retailer (RTW)
  6. Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  7. Ability to multitask and a desire to learn
  8. Strong attention to detail
  9. Ability to take initiative
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  11. RLM & Retail Math knowledge is preferred

Salary Range: $50K-$58K. Actual salary will depend on experience, qualifications, and assigned unit.
