Number One Shoes + Hannahs is seeking a Sales Assistant for the Napier team. This part-time role involves helping customers, keeping displays tidy, and assisting with POS transactions.

The Role

We’re looking for a Sales Assistant to join our Napierteam.

Hours: 4.5 hours per week (Saturday: 9:00-14:00)

In this role, you’ll :

• Help customers find the right products and sizes, providing a friendly, welcoming experience every day
• Maintain store standards, keeping displays tidy, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
• Support operational tasks including point-of-sale transactions, stock replenishment, and daily store duties.
• Contribute to team goals, helping the store succeed and supporting your colleagues.

What You’ll Deliver in This Role:

• Customer Experience & Sales: Deliver our “Every Day Great Experience” (EDGE) by engaging customers, identifying needs, and providing tailored advice. Achieve personal and team sales targets while upselling and maximising the customer experience.
• Store Presentation & Standards: Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-presented store. Ensure merchandise is stocked, displays are attractive, and promotions are executed accurately.
• Operational Support: Assist with stock, deliveries, and transfers. Follow cash-handling procedures and store security practices. Support opening and closing duties as required.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Work closely with your Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and team members. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
