Hyatt Regency DFW, located at Terminal C of the DFW Airport, is looking to expand its sales team with an entry-level Sales Assistant Manager. This on-site role offers a great opportunity for individuals eager to build a career in sales and take on quota-bearing responsibilities. The position supports the overall Sales operation, business priorities, and works closely with other Sales Managers and the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing to implement strategies to attract new hotel business, develop skills to identify new opportunities, manage projects promoting innovative sales methods, support marketing initiatives, analyze booking trends, and foster team engagement.
  • Work with Sales Managers to conduct hotel site tours, maintain relationships with in-house groups, collaborate across departments, prepare proposals and contracts, maintain organized files, follow up on sales activities, and assist in selling rooms and services.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Desire to meet the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to a career in sales.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 1+ years of hotel sales or similar experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
Qualifications:
  • Strong desire to satisfy customer needs.
  • Refined communication skills.
  • Completion of Hyatt Corporate Management Training or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years hotel experience preferred.
