Sales Assistant & Event Concierge at Newport Restaurant Group

Newport Restaurant Group is looking for a Sales Assistant & Event Concierge to join the team. This position will be working out of our Sales Office in Newport, RI.

About the Position: In the Sales Assistant & Event Concierge role, you will assist the NRG sales team with increasing productivity and restaurant efficiencies. You will work with the team to maximize selling time through administrative and event management support.

About You: You are passionate, energetic and to whom pleasing and impressing guests comes naturally.

Essential Duties
  • Answering incoming calls, enters pertinent information into Triple seat, handing off lead to Sales Managers
  • Assists Sales Managers as necessary with client communication
  • Enter new contracted events into OpenTable
  • Assists Sales Managers administratively, including organizing client databases, updating BEOs, processing deposits, invoices, and other organizational projects as assigned
  • Distribute and post original and revised BEOs to team members
  • Prepares menu cards for each event as necessary
  • Complete post event responsibilities
  • Assembles sales kits and maintains a minimum at each business unit
  • Prepare proposals and contracts in alignment with company guidelines and pricing structures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from contract signing through event execution.
  • Collaborate with culinary, beverage, and operations teams to ensure event details are executed to client expectations.
  • Create and manage event orders, floor plans, timelines, and other relevant documents.
  • Attend pre-event meetings and post-event follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Special projects as requested by management
