Job summary

Design Within Reach is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the team in daily store operations, help customers, and learn our products. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in sales support, customer service, inventory, and visual merchandising within a design-focused environment.

You will report to the Assistant Manager and collaborate with sales and visual teams to ensure a positive client experience and smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Interest in design, retail, or customer service.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Gmail, and navigating websites.
• Willingness to learn systems like Salesforce and design software (we'll train you!).
• Able to lift over 40 lbs and move items as needed.

Store Hours: Open daily, Sunday through Saturday (weekend and holiday availability required)

About the Role:

Compensation range for this role is $16.00 - $17.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors. You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
