Job summary

Shepherd Electric Supply in Sterling, VA is seeking a (S) Sales Assistant to support the sales team with data processing, report generation, and routine sales records.

You will assist clerical tasks, answer phones, maintain files, and handle basic product and order status inquiries, while working Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with experience-based adjustments.

• Assists sales staff with other clerical and administrative support.

• Proofreads records or forms.
• Maintains related sales files and office records.
• Answers telephone, conveys messages, and performs miscellaneous duties.
• May answer routine questions about products, services, and order status.
