Mesirow in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Sales Assistant on the IS&T team to provide administrative and sales support to the Managing Director and SVP of Fixed Income Capital Markets in our Chicago office.
Responsibilities include processing trade tickets, account setup, data entry, reports, and coordinating with Operations and Margin, along with supporting the sales desk and back office to resolve settlement issues.

We are currently seeking aSales Assistanton our IS&T team who will perform a variety of administrative and sales support duties for the Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Fixed Income Capital Markets in the Chicago office of Mesirow Financial. This position requires a wide range of administrative skills, knowledge of organizational policies and trading industry procedures. The role of the Sales Assistant is to provide support to the sales desk personnel, enter trade tickets, setup and monitor new accounts, data entry, reconciliation, report monitoring, and general non-trading related duties.
In accordance with the Illinois’s Pay Transparency Law, the anticipated hiring base salary for the role will be between $75,000 and $100,000 per year. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, also provides the opportunity for a commission and discretionary performance bonus and theMesirow benefit program .
